“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24
By normal standards, progression is almost always marked by movement. But I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I think movement may very well be overrated. Seriously. We often value it solely for it’s presence, but unfortunately, not for the quality OR the timing thereof. God’s ways of operating don’t mirror ours. If you have been depending on God for an answer and you’re still looking for Him to move, realize that you may have missed it. When He is the Head of your life, the solution ALWAYS precedes the problem. Before you approach any area of need in your life, God has already provided for it. He’s been there…solved that. He ALREADY MOVED.
There is a theme here. Spiritual progression is impossible without a willingness to banish the “seeing is believing” idea. But it’s enabled with a resolve to believe God first. When your will is lined up with God’s, believing always leads to seeing. So in keeping with the theme, I believe that the best way to activate your belief is to thank God before you receive. Appreciating God in advance is the blinking indicator light of faith…it lets God know that you are ready.
Recap: God provides before you need it…you believe before you see it…by thanking Him before you receive it…
