For the past month or so, my mind has been going crazy with topics and ideas to write about. But between work, studying (for work) and traveling (for work), I haven’t really been able to take anything past the thought stage. Seems like the more I seek and learn of God through our conversation and especially His Word, the more overwhelmed I become. And the kicker? I’m barely even scratching the surface. Hebrews 4:12 (AMP):
“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.”
It’s certainly having that effect on me lately. And as hard as it is to experience, I’m so thankful for it. Perspective is everything…for this reason, the necessity of this Word in my life can never be underscored. It is the perfect lens.
I’m exhausted of words at the moment. Until next time…
